It’s really possible to access firewall-blocked sites such as Facebook and other social networking sites through the use of web proxies. A proxy works by bypassing the firewall system at your home, school or office as you are redirected to the blocked site through another site. So, it’s really easy to log in and access your Facebook profile without the firewall detecting you.
How does it work? Simple. You enter the URL of the Facebook Proxy you have chosen and through there you just type in the home page of Facebook and Facebook will already be an unblocked website. Of course you can’t type in the home page of Facebook directly to your browser but you’ll type it to the proxy.
